The newlyweds are said to have boarded a helicopter near Ranthambhore National Park, flying to the city of Jaipur, where they stepped onto a charter flight to their tropical destination, according to the Associated Press.
The couple tied the knot over the weekend in an extravagant celebration in India. The setting for the lavish event was a tiger reserve in the north of the country, with the duo saying their I Dos at an exclusive resort that was reportedly strewn with colourful lights and flower garlands.
As a token of his love, Brand gave his wife a ruby that is said to have 'protective powers', while Perry picked a baby elephant for her husband as wedding gift.
