Enough with the flashmob ads, please

The first time I saw an Improv Everywhere musical performance, I thought, hey, cool. When I saw the concept adapted as an ad, with Antwerp’s Central Station getting a dose of The Sound of Music, I thought, hey, fair enough. And then it happened again and again and again, from the Single Ladies dance in London to the Liverpool Street Station. And now it’s happened yet again, this time at Heathrow:

Maybe enough already? Spontaneous expressions of creativity and mischief are great, but at a certain point, you’re just accidentally in a T-Mobile commercial. It’s not a movement to reclaim public space anymore, or to experience a moment of unexpected joy. It’s a cell phone ad. How thrilling and subversive!

Mary Tyler Moore to Guest on Betty White's Sitcom - ABC News

TV Land is reuniting Mary Tyler Moore with her 1970s sitcom sidekick Betty White.

The network announced Tuesday that Moore will guest star on the second-season premiere of White's hit comedy, "Hot in Cleveland." TV Land says the episode will air in January.

Moore's guest appearance will be the first time she and White have acted on screen together since "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" went off the air more than three decades ago. On that classic sitcom, Moore was an assistant news producer at a TV station, while White played the host of a homemaking show.

On "Hot in Cleveland," White plays a landlady to three eccentric best friends from Los Angeles who move to Cleveland. It also stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick (MA'-lik).

‘Women of SNL’ special: What part was your favorite?

Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Tina Fey, Nora Dunn, Rachel Dratch, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, Kristin Wiig, Amy Poehler, Laraine Newman, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus headlined the Women of SNL special last night, wrapping some classic sketches with a few new intros and one new sketch. I could watch this Real Housewives spoof all damn day. We’re fambly!

(I seriously thought Tina Fey was Shenae Grimes in that clip.)

No matter how many times I see the Debbie Downer Disneyworld sketch, I crack up — corpsing is hilarious, whether it’s Lindsay Lohan getting the giggles, or Candice Bergen and Gilda Radner breaking. But as funny as these old sketches are, I was a little disappointed that the show hardly included any new content. My kingdom for a new Fey/Poehler Weekend Update!

(PEOPLE) -- Ricky Martin put on a brave face last March when he revealed to the world that he is gay.

But behind the scenes the singer was caught up in a maelstrom of emotion, he tells Oprah Winfrey in an interview airing on her show Tuesday.

On the day he sent out an e-mail announcing, "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man," Martin says he first felt "numb" and then "relieved."

Then, he said, the magnitude of what he'd done hit him.

"When I realized, okay, I just pressed send, whoo ... I was alone," Martin, 38, says. "I was in my studio alone for a minute. My assistant walked in and I just started crying like a little baby. I started crying."

Martin is father to 2-year-old twin sons, Valentino and Matteo, via a surrogate and says his kids are the reason he felt he could no longer sidestep questions about his sexuality.

"I couldn't take it anymore," he says of the decision to come out. "It was too painful. But I guess the most important thing is my children ... When I was holding them in my arms I was like, 'What, am I gonna teach them how to lie?' Whoa, that is my blessing right there. Then, when I was holding my children I said, 'Okay, it's time to tell the world.' "

Charlie Sheen Reveals Broken Marriage, Seeks Custody in Divorce Documents - ABC News

It seems Charlie Sheen's Christmas Day assault on Brooke Mueller took more of toll on their marriage than anyone realized.

In divorce documents filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Sheen reveals that he and Mueller have been separated since Dec. 25, 2009, the day that he got arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly pulling a knife on her. Sheen cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.

According to the filing, the 45-year-old actor, who pleaded guilty in August to misdemeanor assault in exchange for probation and rehab, believes that any money he made after Dec. 25 belongs to him alone and isn't subject to community property laws. That includes the last 10 months of pay from "Two and a Half Men." Sheen reportedly makes close to $2 million per episode of the hit CBS sitcom.

The divorce filing details that Sheen and Mueller, 33, had a pre-nuptial agreement. To that end, Sheen claims "separate property" over everything he made prior to their May 2008 marriage.

Sheen is also asking for joint custody of the couple's 18-month-old twins, Bob and Max. In a separate divorce filing, according to People magazine, Mueller asked for primary physical custody of the boys with visitation rights for Sheen.

TMZ.com obtained a previous property settlement the couple signed in May in which Sheen agreed to pay Mueller $55,000 a month in child support. He also agreed to pay her $1 million to keep the couple's home and an additional lump sum payment of $757,689.70.
