This is the fifth Tuesday of the 2010-11 season that Glee has finished the night as the No. 1 program of the night in the key demographic. Each 18-49 ratings point represents 1.3 million viewers.
The Glee lead-in helped to goose an original episode of Raising Hope (2.6/7, 6.2 million) at 9 and another at 9:30 (2.3/6, 5.4 million).
CBS won the night in viewers (16.1 million) because of its powerful combination of NCIS (4.1/11, 18.2 million), NCIS: LA (3.4/9, 16 million), and The Good Wife (2.4/7, 12.5 million). The network finished in second place in the key demo for the night with a 3.3/9.
ABC tied NBC for the night among 18-49 (2.3/6) but came in second among viewers (10.5 million) because of the Dancing with the Stars results show (15.4 million). No Ordinary Family dropped 9% to a 2.0/5 in the demo – its lowest rated telecast this season. It averaged 7.3 million. Detroit 1-8-7 benefited from its strong lead-in by posting a 2.0/6, a 11% improvement over last week. It averaged 8.7 million viewers.
On NBC, The Biggest Loser (2.4/6) posted its lowest-rated fall telecast ever and averaged a mere 6.6 million. Does anyone care about this show anymore or is it just too dang long? But hey, at least Parenthood was up 5% and posted a 2.0/6 in the demo. It averaged 4.8 million.
